From the
ruins
Cold Vein started in the cold outskirts of Philadelphia when two former bandmates said fuck it — we still have more to give.
The ex-PASSAGE members built Cold Vein around a simple idea: use hardcore as a delivery mechanism for freedom technology. Self-custody. Self-sufficiency. Discipline. Optionality. The practice of belonging to yourself first.
As a collective, Cold Vein implements anti-fragility in how it relates to its members. Every member does double duty. Every member is tasked to adapt. The result is a band that is harder to kill and able to go farther than any individual could alone.
The first album, Formation, is a testament to making something out of nothing. A handful of disciplined people can choose to do a lot of damage — or undo a lot of damage. The key is that you have to do it together.
